“So I guess this is it, isn’t it? There are no more chapters, right? You said we were getting close and that was a while ago.”

I stared up into the sky, it was the same old sky there had always been, except for some rainclouds that hadn’t been there a few minutes ago. It wasn’t raining, but they were still floating up there, grey and dismal.

You begin to ask me something.

“Don’t ask me how I know, I just do. Things just feel really final right now, like the downward slope is starting to level out. Eventually… We’ll hit the back cover, right?”

I sat down on a bench- had that been there a few minutes ago? It was hard to tell.

“Did you say yes? I think I heard you. Your voice keeps getting harder to hear.”

Thunder rumbled, but… It wasn’t like the thunder I’m used to. It sounded like you, and it sounded sad. From one of the clouds, a single drop of rain fell on the grainy wood of the bench.

“… You’re crying, aren’t you? I’m sorry, I’m really sorry. I wish I could change this. I wish I could reach where you are.”

Thunder rolled again, and behind it was a voice. Your voice.

“Me? I’ll be fine, I think. I don’t know if this has ever happened before. I don’t really know what happens when you… close the book.”

You ask me if I’m afraid.

And oddly, I’m not.

“No, actually. Because… Whatever happens to me when you close the cover… You can always open the book up again, right?” and that’s when the answer hits me, the realization jolting me to stand again. “That’s it, isn’t it? You can open it back up. The words won’t change, but I’ll still be here. You can meet me all over again, and I can meet you, and everything we have will come back.”

It’s raining now, and the clouds have merged together, and in them, for the first time… I see you.

You are the most beautiful person I have ever seen in my entire life.

You’re crying, but it’s quiet, and maybe that was the sound of your tears hitting paper.

I realize that we don’t have a lot of time.

“Listen- before it’s all over- I want you to know that everything, all of this… Even being over, it was worth it. It was worth it to meet you, to get to know you. Even if when you close that cover and I disappear- it was all worth it. I love you.”

You love me too, I know it, I can feel it, just like for a moment I can feel what it would be like to hold your hand.

There is a very long pause, and I realize you’re prolonging what has to happen.

“You can do it.”

For the first time, you have to be the hero. You have to close the book so we can keep going. And I believe in you.

The sky gets darker, slowly, but then it gets light again, and your face is still up in those clouds. You open your mouth and for the first time I HEAR you, not just feel what you’re saying or understand you in my own head, your voice comes through the pages in your world and into the reality of mine, and it reverberates and I can hear every little nuance, down to the hitch from you crying.

“I’ll never forget you,” you say. “I’ll come back soon.”

Plot Twist:

“I love you.” She whispered softly closing the book. Her fantasy must end and he must die with it no matter how great their love. Tears fell from her eyes, landing upon the hard worn cover of her most beloved book. The book in which lied the love of her life. The book that loved her back. She ached to open it again but she could not continue like this. She must move on and live a life not in her precious book. Sobs racked her body as she walked to the self, hesitantly sliding her beloved book into the shelf. It was only for a time, she told herself. That she would come back again and read the story of her love again and that she may fall in love again. Whipping her eyes she turned toward the door, but froze in her tracks. A man stood there, concern lining his every feature. She knew that face. It was exactly as she had pictured it, from every line of his jaw to the exact color of his eyes. This can’t be possible.

“Why are you crying?” Oh, his voice. That was his voice. It was as soothing as she had imagined. Her knees grew week and her mind went numb. She struggled for words as he approached her slowly, he knelt before her and touched her cheek, worry etched in his gentle movement. “What’s wrong? Has something happened?”

She could only choke out, “You’re real?”

SCREAMING FROM THIS PERFECTION

I’d want every single copy of the book to be different, you have to find the book for you. Imagine people tearing through the shelves at the book store, wondering if today will be the day that they find the right book.

You sit down in the cafe at Barnes and Noble, looking towards the daily Romance Section frenzy as you blow the steam from your cocoa away from you. It’s been a month since the mysterious series of books sharing a title and cover had been released. You’ve read several copies of the book and frankly you’re beginning to lose hope that you’ll ever find the copy meant for you.

As the froth of dissolved marshmallow swirls around your cup you feel a light tap on the shoulder. Turning around, the stunned face that meets yours confuses you.

“Pardon, do I know you?” you inquire as you subconsciously straighten your back and adjust your hair to it’s intended style.

They look at you with stunned silence, but their recognition of you was obvious. “I-it really is you!” they stammer, holding out a copy of the best selling Romance novel on Earth. Their hands shake ever so slightly as they hold the book out to you, acting as though they want you to take it.

Curiosity takes over and you grab the book, flipping through it in disbelief. Details about your life, phrases that you know damn well you would say, all of it is in this book. Your jaw drops as you skim through the book, unable to think of anything to say other than “It really is me.”

After a long silence you look up at them, standing there with an expression of relief almost. They seemed so thrilled to see you. You frown slightly and tell them that you have yet to find the copy of the book meant for you. They understand, but offer to give you a chance to know them anyways. The expression of hope on their face nearly made you melt. “Can I buy you a cocoa?” you ask with a smile.

Years later, you sit down and buy cocoa for two, your child beaming up at you as you cation them to drink slowly. They’re eager to get a new popup book. You look at your wedding ring with a smile as you sit at the same seat you met the love of your life in. “Wait here just a second, sweetie, I promise I’ll be watching you” you say before walking to the Romance section. An unusually old book looked at you, the paper yellowed by time. You open the book and glance at your kid before reading the first page.

“I’ve been waiting for you to find this book, for quite some time. I’m certain that by now we’ve already met. I’m hoping the time you finish reading this sentence, I’ll already be right beside you.”

You jump as your spouse taps your shoulder, holding your chocolatey faced child and smiling. You purchase the book happily, eager to read it and fall in love all over again. Your child ends up picking a few new books, using your spouse’s eyes as a weapon to wear you down and get more books than you had planned. You don’t mind though, because you want your kid to grow up with a love of reading.

I love these characters, you totally get the idea of them being from certain countries! Anna and Rapunzel may have similarities but they aren’t twins! Many Disney females have similarities, but they still look different! I’m happy with these new characters! Tangled defiantly pulled a ‘little mermaid’ by bringing back fairytales, disney, and setting a new formula in motion! Chicken little may be the first CGI disney film, but I like to say Tangled is their first cgi hit! Or at least Disney’s most recognizable CGI film! So if tangled could pull a Little Mermaid, will Frozen pull a Beauty and the Beast?

I want to take a moment here to talk about Jared’s acting…. you don’t even have to know this is Souless!Sam…. you can tell that just by looking at his eyes… he changed Sam’s personality so perfectly that the first time Sam appeared on season 6 we knew something was not right… same goes for when Lucifer is wearing Sam as a vessel, his expressions change and we know it’s not Sam….

and some people even say Jared is a bad actor…

Ah! Okay i’ll publish this so you all know, but Cress actually appears at the end of Cinder! She’s the girl from the DComm chip with the ‘longest tangled mess of blonde hair Cinder’s ever seen,” Also, Cress is short for Crescent Moon! Which is also the name of the doctor’s daughter, so it’s pretty widely expected that she’s actually the doctor’s daughter and that Levana kept her even though she was a shell for some unknown reason!

Also, I’m just theorizing about Thorne. It’s looking pretty likely that he will be the next love interest, mostly because well it would make sense since she’ll probably join them and ~~Thornebby~~ Thorne still has no love interest even though he’s the flirtatious one.

Also, there has been a ton of emphasis on his eyes in Scarlet. Like, a lot. And in the original rapunzel tale, the prince’s eyes are stabbed out by COUGH THORNS COUGH. You see what I’m getting at?

Okay so most of this is just fan speculation, but fan speculation from the fan who’s guessed most book plots before she even got the book? I don’t know I’ve been wrong before but it doesn’t happen a lot! Hope I could help! Its so great to talk to people who read this series too!
